Greg Abbott is an idiot and a moron ... according to social media

Come on Gov. Is tossing the residents of the great state of Texas under the bus really worth the distraction from the recent electric grid meltdown? This is the question many on Twitter are asking. Governor Abbott's recent decision to end mask mandates and reopen Texas 100% has many Texans asking if there is anyone home in the Governor's melon. And Texans are not alone. President Biden called the move "Neanderthalic" while Twitter, not known for pulling any punches, is calling Governor Abbott "an idiot", "a moron" and "stupid" among other accolades. Overall, Governor Abbott is pulling 72% negatives in Twitter over last few days.

Grassley Wins Most Negative in Senate Hypocrisy Club

Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa is a proud member of the Senate hypocrisy club who, like his fellow members, have done a jaw dropping flip flops on filling a Supreme Court vacancy in the weeks leading up to a Presidential election. In 2016 Grassley, then Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, refused to hold hearings on President Obama's selection to fill the SCOTUS vacancy created by the sudden death of Justice Antonin Scalia. When pressed in 2018 if the Senator would support filling a vacancy in the last year of President Trump's first term he said no and stated "It was very legitimate that you can't have one rule for Democrat presidents and another rule for Republican presidents." Senator Grassley now supports holding hearings on Mr. Trump's soon to be announced nomination. Senators McConnell, Graham, Rubio, Cruz, Cotton, Ernst, Gardner and a host of others have done whiplash inducing 180's on the issue - vocally refusing to vote on Obama

You can't make this stuff up. As dysfunctional as The Crown may paint the British monarchy, real life makes the Netflix depiction look like a puff piece. The latest episode is the gut spilling Oprah interview where Meghan Markel dropped the mic on the royals in rolling out the manure carpet for the perceived interloper. Social dings more or less the lot of them but saves its best for the "decaying" Prince Charles at 25% positives. Social has a long memory of Chuck's mistreatment of Diana and is now turning on him as he is turning his back on his son, Prince Harry. Meghan Markel has her supporters but is still taking a lashing in social with 44% positives due to her audacity to out the monarchy. While the Queen, Long Live Her, is sliding in at an equal 44% positives, likely due to Harry calling off the attack dogs and saying neither she nor his father were the source of the baby's color comment.
